The American Experience

Brewster Madrid offers students in grades 10 - 12 the opportunity to live and study at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire during the winter and spring trimesters. This unique opportunity fully leverages the power of the Brewster family of schools to support students as they grow into citizens and scholars who have the desire, skills, and knowledge to actively engage in global learning thus better equipping them to thrive in the increasingly connected world.

Participation in the program is by application. In order to be considered a student must be in good academic and community standing at Brewster Madrid. In addition to recommendations from teachers and advisors, the selection committee considers the following factors:

  • At least a 3.0 GPA; no grade lower than 80 for the previous two trimesters

  • Leadership on campus and in the classroom

  • Contributions to the community

The selection committee is composed of:

  • President - Craig Gemmell

  • Deputy Head of School - Jonathan Fouser

  • Deputy Head of School Bret Barnett

Given the limited number of spaces available to Brewster Madrid students at Brewster Academy this is a competitive program.
