SEL

As a part of educating the whole child, social-emotional learning (SEL) is a vital component of our program. At Brewster, students bolster not only their academic repertoire, but they also expand their relational abilities - learning about empathy, inclusion, self-awareness, and responsible decision making. While SEL is often the topic of all-school gatherings and assemblies, students also engage in age-appropriate curriculum that focuses on growth in all of these areas. SEL is a hallmark of the Brewster program - it sets students up for greater academic success, helps them create more meaningful relationships, and prepares them for college and beyond.
