Brewster Madrid: La Moraleja Campus & Boarding Residence
Brewster Madrid’s new La Moraleja campus, located at the historic Las Esclavas del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Convent, combines tradition with modern learning. The campus features flexible classrooms, outdoor spaces, beautiful gardens, and nearly 20,000 square meters of oak forest, creating an inspiring environment for students.
The boarding residence in Santo Domingo, just a short drive away, offers shared apartments with two students per room and full-time residential staff to ensure safety and support. With dining services, gym access, nearby shops, and athletic facilities, students enjoy a well-rounded lifestyle.
Located 20 minutes from central Madrid, the residence offers enriching evening and weekend activities, along with regular trips across Spain and Europe, making the Brewster experience exciting, dynamic, and unforgettable.
Study Abroad and Gap Year Programs
Brewster Madrid’s Study Abroad and Gap Year Program offers students in grades 9-12 along with post-graduate students an opportunity to thrive with full board at our central boarding facilities.
The Study Abroad program includes two flexible options that vary by preference of program duration. The Gap Year program includes three exciting options to suit different goals and interests. Participants for all programs will have access to our university counseling and student support services.
Study Abroad Program:
Grade 10 Students:
- Full exchange year to take a full American courseload (6 core courses), equivalent to the next year of progression for high school.
- Students participate in Spanish classes and language immersion opportunities.
- Students participate in a range of afternoon programs, activities, and/or sports available to them.
- Short term exchange: option to come for a full semester or trimester, equivalent to the next semester/year of progression for high school.*

*Brewster will need to be in contact with the student’s current school to ensure class offerings are continuous and align with both parties.
Gap Year Program:
The Advanced Academic Track provides a rigorous curriculum of six core courses, leading to either an American High School Diploma or a dual diploma for post-graduate students. This option is designed for students seeking a strong academic foundation to prepare for university.
The Internship & Academic Program combines three core classes with hands-on internship experience in areas such as marketing and communications, student programming, curriculum development, and early childhood education. This option allows students to gain real-world experience while continuing their education.
The Language Immersion Program focuses on language development and cultural exploration. It includes three core classes and two sections of Spanish language, offering students a deep dive into language learning alongside their academic studies.
With access to AP courses, niche arts electives, and dynamic learning experiences, Brewster Madrid’s Gap Year Program empowers students to grow, explore, and prepare for the future in a truly transformative way.
