From Wolfeboro, New Hampshire (USA) to Madrid, Spain
Brewster's original campus in Wolfeboro, NH, USA has been offering a boarding program on its lakeside campus for nearly 60 years.
In Wolfeboro, Brewster’s residential facilities are scattered among academic, artistic, and athletic facilities on a 33-acre lakeside campus and embedded in a town that is described regularly as "the oldest summer resort in America." Brewster Madrid: La Moraleja Campus & Boarding Residence
Brewster’s soon-to-open 3rd European academic campus in La Moraleja, Madrid, Spain is located on the ground of the iconic Las Esclavas del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Convent in La Moraleja. This former convent and its grounds have long been an important asset to church and community alike; we are honored to ensure that Las Esclavas' church, the spiritual center for generations of La Moraleja residents, continues to operate while also utilizing the other uplifting interior spaces and grounds to bring our nurturing American educational model to this amazing community.
As Brewster expands, our students will have the opportunity to connect with peers from all campuses, our teachers will have the option to move among our different locations, and our administrators will be able to work together to ensure that our expansion evolves thoughtfully. This will provide the necessary support to all our schools to realize our shared mission: to prepare diverse thinkers for purposeful lives.
Our academic campus in La Moraleja includes flexible classrooms, outdoor learning spaces, beautiful gardens, and almost 20,000 sq. meters of oak forest. We will also be offering a boarding program that will endeavor to provide a home away from home for students.
The residential program for Brewster Madrid La Moraleja is located a short drive from our academic campus in the quaint neighborhood of Santo Domingo. Students will live in residential towers surrounded by verdant grounds, dining services, gym access, and a short walk from the local commercial area that offers supermarkets, shops, and vast athletic offerings. Students will live with full-time Brewster residential staff and have transportation every day to and from campus as well as a wide range of evening and weekend offerings. Being only 20 minutes from a European capital, our location will impact how the residential experience shapes the broader Brewster Madrid education. Regular weekend trips to cultural sites in Madrid, around Spain, and in Europe more broadly give Brewster Madrid educators immense opportunities to provide relevant and appealing educational and recreational opportunities to our boarding students.
Students will live in shared apartments with one or two rooms with a maximum of two students, and will be nurtured, guided, and supervised by experienced residential staff members living on each residential floor. Our staff is charged with cultivating a safe and joyous residential environment in which all students feel a strong sense of belonging.
