Temporary Position: Substitute Mathematics Teacher
Brewster Madrid, an American school located in the Chamberí district of Madrid, is seeking to appoint a Substitute Mathematics Teacher.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching AP Statistics, IB Mathematics, Precalculus, and Statistics.
Immediate availability is required.
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of previous experience teaching Math
- A Bachelor's degree in a Maths field with an advanced degree in education
- Attention to detail, innovative and “can-do” attitude
- Exceptional time management skills
- Great presentation and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with Google Suite and learning management systems
- Ability to coach and inspire, especially in relation to children
- Proven success running discussion-centered classes
- Strong writing/communication skills and a proven dedication to teaching analytical writing across the curriculum
- Demonstrated skill working with adolescents
- Multicultural competency and a commitment to inclusivity
- Experience teaching the IB and/or AP is a plus but not required (middle and upper school)
- Fluency in English, proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required
- The ability to laugh and to cultivate joy

Brewster Madrid, an American school located in the Chamberí district of Madrid, is seeking to appoint a Substitute Part Time Science Teacher.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry, IB Biology, IB Environmental Science and systems
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of previous experience as a SCIENCE teacher
- Bachelor's degree in a SCIENCE field with an advanced degree in education or STEM related field
- Knowledge of SCIENCE best practices
- Attention to detail, innovative and “can-do” attitude
- Exceptional time management skills
- Great presentation and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with Google Suite and learning management systems
