What is the number of students per class?

The number of students per class is 15 to 18.

How many nationalities are represented among the students?

We have students from more than 40 different nationalities.

Are the teachers native speakers and is instruction 100% in English?

Yes, all classes are taught in English by native teachers, and we also offer classes in Spanish, as we are an international school in Spain.

What grades are offered on each campus? Will my child need to switch campuses?

Both Brewster Madrid campuses offer K1-Grade 12*. Families are not required to switch campuses, but can request a transfer to another campus during the re-enrollment period. Current families are always given priority to move between campuses.

* For the 2025-2026 inaugural school year at our La Moraleja campus, only grades K1-11 will be offered.

What type of international experience does the school provide?

We offer an educational experience with an American approach.

Does Brewster have university counseling?

Our students can apply to both American and Spanish universities.

Yes. Brewster has a dedicated University Counseling Office that assists students proactively to understand different IB and AHSD pathways and access to universities around the world. Brewster provides personalized guidance, ensuring that students have multiple options and are well positioned for success.

How often are students speaking English and Spanish?

The primary language of instruction at Brewster Madrid is in English and faculty members are native English speakers.

Students in Grade K3 (kindergarten) - 12 also have required Spanish language classes and we offer external language immersion classes before and after school.

Brewster supports multilingualism and families will find many languages spoken outside of the classrooms

Are extracurricular activities included in the monthly fee?

No, extracurricular activities are not included. Find more information about our afternoon programs here.

What type of academic program does the school offer?

Our American-based, student-centered, skills-based classroom allows students of all ages to be challenged, have agency, gain intrinsic motivation, and love learning. We begin with play-based learning, advance to project-based methodology, and culminate in an inquiry-based approach paired with innovative university counseling and flexible pathways, including AP, IB, boarding and gap-year programs in collaboration with our flagship campus in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, USA.
