Brewster Kids Summer Academy
At Brewster Madrid, our Chamberí summer program is designed for curious minds ages 3 to 8. Each day is packed with exciting activities that blend academics, arts, and athletics, sparking creativity and a love for learning. Through immersive English language experiences, hands-on projects, and engaging play, children build skills while having a blast. Guided by our expert Brewster faculty, they’ll grow academically, socially, and creatively in a warm, supportive environment.

Week 1: Safari
Young adventurers will dive into the wonders of the jungle with hands-on experiments and creative challenges. Children will make their own jungle artifacts like slime and lava, and work together to design and build bridges, testing their strength just like real engineers crossing rivers in the wild. Along the way, students develop creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, while exploring basic science concepts like reactions, density, and observation.
Week 2: Explorers
It’s time to discover the world like a true explorer. Students will create erupting volcanoes and learn about the powerful forces inside the Earth, build their own working compass to navigate new territories, and dig into the past as they explore fossils, uncovering clues about ancient life. These activities encourage curiosity and scientific inquiry, helping students practice asking questions, experimenting, and understanding the world around them.
Week 3: Beach Adventure
The coast comes to the classroom with creative ocean-inspired activities. Children will craft their own “sea in a bottle” to capture the magic of the ocean, play and experiment with kinetic sand to shape their own beach landscapes, and design and test mini boats, seeing whose creation can sail the best. Through these hands-on projects, students build creativity, fine motor skills, and early problem-solving abilities, while learning about ocean science and how things float and move on water.

Our daughter had an absolutely wonderful time at Brewster Madrid last summer! She attended for the full three weeks, and it was incredible to see how excited she was to go back every single morning to see what new adventure awaited her. Each themed week offered a perfect mix of discovery and play. She loved the STEAM projects, especially making slime and fossils, and still proudly wears her Tie-Dye shirt made in an art session. A major highlight for us was seeing her English skills reinforced through the immersive environment and her confidence in speaking blossomed while she was busy participating in outdoor play with new friends. The experienced Brewster faculty, especially the leads for the ages 3–5 group like Claire and Melanie, created such a nurturing and vibrant atmosphere. We will be back!
